Oslo Taxi was established in 1921 and is today one of Norway's largest passenger transport groups, measured in number of passengers. We transport almost 5 million passengers annually in Oslo and Eastern Norway. At Oslo Taxi, we have a vision that we have room for everyone. This means that we take our social mission seriously and will be an important part of public transport.

The group currently has approximately 360 employees and has 2,600 drivers and 1,400 vehicles. The group includes the taxi centers Oslo Taxi AS, Elvebyen Taxi AS, Taxi Sør AS, as well as the bus supplier Oslo Taxibuss AS and the technology company CenCom AS.

With us, the customer is always in focus. This also means that we build new alliances, partnerships and services. The company's purpose is to meet the need for central services for taxi owners, and provides services within the areas of call center, trip allocation, finance, IT, sales and marketing.

Oslo Taxi is owned by the taxi owners who are affiliated with the company. We place great emphasis on internal and external communication and public relations as a means of realizing our strategies.

We are expanding our team and are looking for someone who wants to work permanently in a 100% position – or as an on-call substitute – at our customer center. We work shifts (day/evening between 7 am and 11 pm) and work every 3rd weekend.

Internal marketing

Oslo Taxi is looking for someone who is more up to date than us!

We're supposed to be the best at safe, accessible, and professional transportation. But when it comes to TikTok trends, reels, and algorithms that change more often than the weather in April... we need help.

Oslo Taxi is looking for a marketing intern who can raise our digital visibility and develop how we communicate in social media – and who dares to challenge us along the way.

What you will be working on:

  • Planning and publishing content on social media (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn – and maybe TikTok?) 
  • Content production together with our content producer 
  • Idea development of concepts that make Oslo Taxi more relevant for new target groups 
  • Analysis of results and suggestions for improvements 
  • Contribute to campaigns and other marketing activities 
  • You will be given real responsibility. This is not a copy-and-paste internship. 

Who are we looking for? 

  • You are studying marketing, communications, media or similar 
  • You understand how social media actually works (not just what it looks like) 
  • You have a flair for what is engaging. 
  • You can edit video and create visual content 
  • You dare to come up with ideas – even when they challenge us. 

It is a plus if you: 

  • Have experience with Meta Business Manager
  • Worked with social media advertising
  • Have used analysis tools and can read numbers
  • Familiar with Adobe or other editing tools.

Receptionist

Are you structured, friendly and proactive? Then we want to hear from you!

Oslo Taxi AS is looking for a receptionist who will be our face to the outside world when meeting with customers, licensees, drivers and other visitors. As a receptionist at Oslo Taxi, you will be responsible for, among other things, the switchboard, reception and meeting rooms, and ensure that our visitors receive a pleasant reception and the help they need. You will work closely with the course manager, who is responsible for the course reception and our Servicetorg, which provides first-line support to our licensees and drivers.

With us you will work with:

  • Answer the switchboard
  • Welcome guests, licensees and drivers in a welcoming, solution-oriented and professional manner
  • You will be responsible for meeting rooms and assist with ordering food and organizing larger meetings.
  • Responsibility for purchasing office supplies and following up on purchasing agreements related to reception/common areas
  • Sales/returns of reception goods and services, as well as cash settlement
  • Mail reception
    Preparing case documents for case managers
  • Respond to and distribute incoming inquiries on company mail
  • Assist the course reception with, among other things, issuing ID cards, registering for courses and more.

Who do we want on the team:

  • You have experience in customer service, preferably from reception.
  • You have good technical expertise and the ability to learn new systems quickly
  • You must have good communication skills - both verbal and written.
  • You are service-minded, accommodating, flexible and solution-oriented
  • You meet punctually and are trustworthy.

Practical information 

We offer you a position where you will help shape the reception area and customer service in an exciting industry. Competitive conditions and a workplace in modern premises in central Oslo.

Working hours will be 08:00-15:30, the company has summer hours in June, July and August with opening hours 08:00-15:00.
