Now you can book a taxi with even more confidence. When you enter both your pickup and drop-off address in the Taxifix app or on oslotaxi.no, you'll receive a guaranteed maximum fare before your ride begins.
Know what you’ll pay, before you ride
The maximum fare is calculated using the estimated time and distance from Google Maps' suggested route. This is the highest amount you’ll be charged.
If the meter shows a lower fare at the end of the trip, you’ll pay the lower price, simple as that.
When does the guarantee apply?
To keep the maximum fare in place, just make sure:
- You’re ready when the taxi arrives
- The trip goes directly from pickup to drop-off with no unscheduled stops or detours
- No extra services are added (like additional passengers or special handling)
If the driver needs to wait more than five minutes, or if the route changes, the maximum fare may no longer apply, but you’ll always be notified before that happens.
